Good health and proper nourishment are pre-requisites for learning and quality of life. Christel House children receive two nutritional meals a day, which in many cases may be the child's only nourishment.
Each child receives regular medical and dental checkups, hearing and vision screenings, and immunizations in accordance with World Health Organization standards. Ongoing medical care is provided, as well as group and individual therapy for children exposed to violence, abandonment, bereavement and abuse.
